Ratnagiri : Rashtriya Arogya Abhiyan District Intervention Center, District Hospital Ratnagiri for various surgeries of children in the age group of 0 to 18 years. A surgery camp was organized under the guidance of Guardian Minister Uday Samant from December 21 to 23 in association with District Government Hospital, Uday Samant Foundation and Sion Hospital, Mumbai.
The well-known Dr. Sion Hospital in the camp. A total of 35 children qualified for surgery through Paras Kothari and his colleagues were successfully operated on at the district hospital.
For this camp, the district surgeon Dr. Dr. Sanghamitra Phule, Additional District Surgeon. Vikas Kumare, RBSK District Program Supervisor Aarti Kadam, District Early Intervention Center Manager Sagar Bane and all RBSK and DEIC officers participated.
An early intervention center has been started in the district government hospital. The first six years after the birth of the baby are very important from the point of view of growth and development of the baby. Any anomaly, disturbance or problem in the development of the baby during this period can affect the future growth and development of the baby. These children are slightly different from others due to late completion of developmental milestones.
Problems such as not being able to achieve physical balance, not being able to sit, not being able to stand, not being able to walk, not being able to speak, speaking late, not remembering what has been said, getting hung up, living alone etc. All such problems are being diagnosed and treated through this new center.
