Two-and-a-half-hour ‘Megablock’ between Kalambani and Kamthe on Konkan Railway on Tuesday

Ratnagiri : On Tuesday 26th December 2023, two and a half hour megablock will be taken on Konkan Railway line. This megablock of railway will be between Kalambani Budruk in Khed and Kamthe in Chiplun taluk for the maintenance and repair work of the railway line.

In this regard, according to the information given by Konkan Railway, a make-up lock of two and a half hours will be taken on December 26 from 12:40 PM to 10:00 PM.

The schedule of these trains will be affected

1) 02197 Coimbatore to Jabalpur special train traveling on 25th December will be delayed for one hour and 45 minutes between Kankavali to Sangameshwar Road railway station due to mega block on Konkan Railway.

2) The second train to be affected by the mega block will be the express train (10106) running between Sawantwadi Road and Diva Junction. This train of December 26 will be stopped between Sawantwadi and Ratnagiri for one hour and fifteen minutes.

Konkan Railway has appealed to the passengers to plan their journey keeping in mind the changes in the schedule of two trains during the Mega Block period.
