Mumbai: In an effort to manage passenger rush and provide seamless travel options toward Goa, the Central Railway Konkan Railway has officially announced a one-way special train running from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSM) to Madgaon.
As per the official notification the train 01173 CSMT–Madgaon One-Way Special will operate on June 14, 2026. This special service is highly anticipated to offer a comfortable journey for weekend travelers heading to the Konkan coast and Goa.

The special train will cater to several major stations across Maharashtra’s Konkan region and Goa. The scheduled halts include:
- Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, and Karmali.

Passengers can choose from reserved and unreserved categories. The coach layout includes:
- 3 AC Chair Cars
- 10 Second Chair Cars (6 Reserved & 4 Unreserved)
- 1 Second Seating cum Guard’s Brake Van
- 1 Generator Car
