MUMBAI / GOA: In a move to accommodate the surging rush of passengers traveling between Mumbai and Goa, the Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has announced a permanent coach augmentation for the popular 10115/10116 Bandra Terminus – Madgaon – Bandra Terminus Bi-weekly Express.
Starting from May 26, 2026, the train will operate with an increased capacity, expanding its total length from the existing 20 Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches to 21 LHB coaches.
The permanent addition consists of one extra 3-Tier AC (3AC) coach, providing immediate relief to waitlisted passengers looking for air-conditioned travel comfort on this highly demanded route.

With the integration of the new AC coach, the revised 21-coach LHB configuration for the Bandra Terminus–Madgaon Bi-weekly Express is structured as follows:
