Ratnagiri: The Konkan division has once again achieved the highest pass rate in the state for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. This year, the Konkan division secured a pass rate of 97.51%. Since the establishment of the Konkan Divisional Board, it has consistently maintained its tradition of high results.
Key highlights of the HSC results this year include Mumbai division recording the lowest pass rate at 91.95%. Girls outperformed boys in the exams, with girls achieving a pass rate of 95.44% compared to 91.60% for boys, a difference of 3.84%.
Division-wise HSC results for 2024 are as follows:
- Pune: 94.44%
- Nagpur: 92.12%
- Sambhajinagar: 94.08%
- Mumbai: 91.95%
- Kolhapur: 94.24%
- Amravati: 93%
- Nashik: 94.71%
- Latur: 92.36%
- Konkan: 97.51%
