Ratnagiri : The Konkan Railway is actively running a campaign on its route, checking tickets on a continuous basis. During this campaign in December 2023, a total of 6,675 unauthorized/irregular passenger tickets were found, resulting in a penalty collection of ₹1,95,64,926.

Konkan Railway emphasizes the importance of traveling with valid tickets to deter unauthorized passengers, and the entire route is subjected to rigorous ticket inspection campaigns organized by KRCL.
