MUMBAI : To clear the extra rush of passengers during the upcoming Puja and Diwali festival season, Indian Railways has announced special train services connecting Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), Mumbai, to Sawantwadi Road and Thiruvananthapuram North. Train bookings for these special services will open on September 27, 2026.
1. LTT – Sawantwadi Road Weekly Special (Train No. 01179)
A boon for Konkan-bound commuters during the festive season.

- Period of Service: 09/10/2026 to 20/11/2026
- Frequency: Weekly (Every Friday)
- Total Trips: 07 Trips

2. LTT – Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Special (Train No. 01463)
Providing seamless connectivity for passengers traveling towards Kerala and Southern India.
- Train Number: 01463 (LTT to Thiruvananthapuram North)
- Period of Service: 15/10/2026 to 19/11/2026
- Frequency: Weekly (Every Thursday)
- Total Trips: 06 Trips
- Coach Composition: 22 ICF Coaches (11 Sleeper + 5 General Second Class + 4 3-AC + 2 SLR)
