RATNAGIRI: A young woman who fell into the sea from the Sunset Point of Bhagwati Fort in Ratnagiri two days ago is now primarily suspected to be from Nashik. The search for the missing woman, who disappeared into the rough seas after falling from the fort, is still underway.
Locally, no missing person’s report matching the woman’s description has been filed. However, a missing woman from Nashik has a description that somewhat matches the individual involved in this incident. Police have therefore initiated an investigation to ascertain if the woman who fell into the sea and went missing is indeed the same person from Nashik.
Due to the current rough sea conditions, police are continuing their search along the adjacent coastline near the accident site. Despite two days passing since the incident, the woman who fell from the fort and disappeared into the sea has not yet been found.
