Lanja (Ratnagiri) : Traffic on the Mumbai-Goa four-lane National Highway was brought to a standstill due to an accident involving a chemical tanker that overturned in the Anjanari Ghat around 6:30 PM on Tuesday evening. Following the accident, there were long queues of vehicles on both sides of the highway.
Efforts to remove the overturned tanker near Lanja on the Mumbai-Goa highway continued late into the night. Upon receiving information about the accident, Lanja police immediately rushed to the spot.
