Ratnagiri district collector M. Devender Sinh selected for the Outstanding Voter Awareness Award!

Ratnagiri : The election officer of Ratnagiri district, M. Devendra Sinh, has been selected for the Outstanding Voter Awareness Award 2024 for his exemplary work in ensuring accurate voter lists through educational campaigns and the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program during the National Voters’ Day 2024 program.

Alongside him, Rahul Gayakwad, Jeevan Desai, and officers from various departments have also been chosen for their outstanding contributions.

Additionally, Akash Ligade, the outstanding voter registration officer for the Konkan region, and Vaibhav Vijay Amberkar, the social media coordinator, have been selected for the Outstanding Social Media Award 2024. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on January 24 at Jai Hind College, Churchgate, Mumbai, in the presence of the Chief Election Officer of Maharashtra, Shrikant Deshpande.

As per the Election Commission’s directives, the National Voters’ Day program will be held statewide on January 25, 2024. During this program, recognition will be given to individuals and organizations for their noteworthy and innovative contributions related to the election process in the state.

The awards aim to acknowledge the outstanding efforts made by election officials and institutions at the state level, as well as individuals who have excelled in their work during the 2023-24 electoral period.
