Ratnagiri : Train services on the Konkan Railway route, which were disrupted for approximately 18 hours due to significant water seepage alongside the tracks in the tunnel at Perneme, have been restored. The rail traffic resumed after a Track Fitness Certificate (TFC) was obtained at 8:35 PM on Wednesday, thanks to the relentless efforts of over a hundred laborers, 25 supervisors, chief engineers, and national as well as international consultants.

While efforts to restore the disrupted service were underway on a war footing, train operations resumed after obtaining the Track Fitness Certificate (TFC) at 8:35 PM on Wednesday, as reported by Konkan Railway.
