Railway block in Mumbai will affect the schedule of trains on Konkan railway route

Mumbai : Special Blocks for pre Non-Interlocking (NI) works in connection with extension of Platforms 10/11 for accommodating 24 coaches trains at CSMT
Mid-night blocks from 17th /18th May to 1st / 2nd June 2024. Due to this block Trains coming on Konkan Railway line will be affected.

It has been decided by Central Railway to operate Pre NI / NI works from 17/18.05.2024 (Friday / Saturday) to 30/31.05.2024 (Thursday / Friday) for extension of platform 10 & 11 and for provision of Electronic Interlocking at Mumbai CSMT station. The NI works will be carried out from 00:30 hrs of 01.06.2024 (Saturday) to 12:30 hrs of 02.06.2024 (Sunday). Daywise repercussions to Train services are as under: 

1) 17.05.2024 / 18.05.2024 – (Friday / Saturday)

  1. Train no. 12052 Madgaon Jn. – Mumbai CSMT Janshatabdi Express journey commences on 17/05/2024 will be short terminated at Dadar.
  2. Train no. 22120 Madgaon Jn. – Mumbai CSMT Tejas Express journey commences on 17/05/2024 will be short terminated at Dadar.
  3. Train no. 12134 Mangaluru Jn. – Mumbai CSMT Express journey commences on 17/05/2024 will be short terminated at Dadar.
  4. Train no. 10104 Madgaon Jn. – Mumbai CSMT Mandovi Express journey commences on 17/05/2024 will be short terminated at Panvel.

Short Origination: 

  1. Train no. 12051 Mumbai CSMT – Madgaon Jn. Janshatabdi Express journey commences on 18/05/2024 will short originate ex. Dadar.
  2. Train no. 22229 Mumbai CSMT – Madgaon Jn.  Vande Bharat Express journey commences on 18/05/2024 will short originate ex. Dadar.
  3. Train no. 20111 Mumbai CSMT – Madgaon Jn. Konkankanya Express journey commences on 17/05/2024 will short originate ex. Panvel (Schedule Departure).

2) 18.05.2024 / 19.05.2024 – (Saturday / Sunday)

Short Termination:
