Mumbai : At the meeting of the Central Railway District Advisory Committee, member of parliament Sunil Tatkare demanded the halt for 10 express trains running on Konkan Railway route at Roha station in Raigad district. Tatkare raised railway-related issues in Raigad district at this meeting.
During this meeting, MP Tatkare discussed several issues related to Raigad district with Divisional Railway Manager Rajnish Kumar Goyal. He also informed Railway Minister Ashwini Kumar Vaishnav about the demands over the phone. The discussion in the meeting also included various other railway-related issues in the district.
Due to the unavailability of a single train at Roha and Panvel stations from 12:45 PM to 6:30 PM, Tatkare demanded that the Matsyagandha Express running towards the south be stopped at Roha station.
The following trains were requested to be stopped at Roha station:
Dadar-Sawantwadi Tutari Express, Indore-Kochuveli Express, Dadar-Tirunelveli Junction Express, Chandigarh-Kochuveli Express, Chandigarh-Madgaon Express, Hisar-Coimbatore Junction Express, and LTT-Madgaon Express. These trains were requested to be converted from the operating halt to the commercial halt at Roha station. Additionally, a request was made to halt the Diva-Sawantwadi (10105) and Sawantwadi-Diva (10106) trains at Roha and Pen stations. The meeting also discussed other issues faced by passengers in detail.
