MLC Pramod Jathar Meets Konkan Railway COM to Demand Express Train Halts at Konkan Railway Stations

Ratnagiri : In a significant push to improve regional rail connectivity, Member of Legislative Council (MLC) and BJP State Spokesperson Pramod Jathar held a crucial meeting with the Chief Operations Manager (COM) of Konkan Railway.

​During the meeting, Mr. Jathar strongly advocated for the provision of halts for major Express trains at key railway stations across the Konkan region, specifically targeting Rajapur, Vilavade, Sangmeshwar, and Vaibhavwadi. Highlighting the daily commuting challenges faced by locals, regular passengers, and tourists, he urged railway authorities to streamline operations and upgrade passenger amenities. This proactive initiative is expected to address major transportation hurdles in the Konkan belt, bringing much-needed relief to commuters.
