RATNAGIRI : Prominent journalist Yogesh Haldavanekar, known for raising his voice on various public and social issues in Ratnagiri, submitted a formal memorandum regarding alleged corruption in the Mid-Day Meal (Mid-Day Meal / PM POSHAN) scheme in Ratnagiri taluka to Maharashtra’s School Education Minister Dadasaheb Bhuse. The minister is currently on a two-day official visit to Ratnagiri district.

​Reports and complaints regarding irregularities and poor quality in the school nutritional meal scheme across several schools in Ratnagiri taluka had surfaced recently. Highlighting these concerns, Haldavanekar personally handed over the memorandum to Minister Bhuse, demanding a thorough investigation into the matter.
