Konkan Railway Update : Tejas Express to Short Terminate at Dadar, Mangaluru Express at Thane Due to CSMT Block

Ratnagiri :  Central Railway has announced a special traffic and power block at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) from August 6, 2026, to August 21, 2026, for the redevelopment of Platform No. 16. Due to this infrastructure work, two major trains operating on the Konkan Railway route will be short-terminated during this period.

​Train Service Changes Details:

• ​Madgaon Jn – Mumbai CSMT Tejas Express (Train No. 22120): For Journeys Commencing On (JCO) August 5, 2026, to August 20, 2026, this train will short-terminate at Dadar instead of CSMT.

• ​Mangaluru Jn – Mumbai CSMT Express (Train No. 12134): For Journeys Commencing On (JCO) August 5, 2026, to August 20, 2026, this train will short-terminate at Thane instead of CSMT.
