Mumbai: Passengers traveling from Mumbai to Mangaluru are advised to check their schedules, as the Central Railway’s Mumbai Division has announced the rescheduling of Train No. 12133 (Mumbai CSMT – Mangaluru Jn. Express).

Originally scheduled to depart on the night of May 18, 2026, the train’s departure has been pushed forward by several hours due to operational reasons. Central Railway issued an official notification expressing regret for the inconvenience caused to commuters.

Key Highlights of the Rescheduling

Commuters booked on this route should take note of the revised timings to avoid a long wait at the station:

  • Train Number & Name: 12133 CSMT – Mangaluru Jn. Express
  • Original Scheduled Departure: 21:45 HRS on May 18, 2026
  • Revised Rescheduled Departure: 00:30 HRS on May 19, 2026
  • Delayed By: Approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes

Impact on Passengers & Major Stoppages

Because the train is departing after midnight on May 19 instead of its regular late-evening slot on May 18, consecutive arrival timings at subsequent major stations along the Konkan Railway route—including Thane, Panvel, Ratnagiri, Madgaon (Goa), Karwar, Udupi, and Surathkal—will also experience a cascading delay.

Passengers are highly encouraged to monitor the live running status of the train via official Indian Railways apps or the NTES (National Train Enquiry System) portal before heading to their boarding stations.
