Raigad district bird watchers Vaibhav Patil, Harish Patil and Surendra Patil were in Satara when they saw a group of ‘Pied Wheatear’ in a field near Shirwal village in Satara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interestingly, as this bird has not been seen in Maharashtra before, a new bird has been added to the bird glory of Maharashtra. Bird watchers have reported the possibility that this bird of the Old World flycatcher family migrates from Europe to Africa and South East Asia and has wandered to Maharashtra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
