According to a recent announcement by Konkan Railway, the high-demand Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 22229\/22230) is slated for a significant capacity expansion. Currently operating with an eight-coach configuration, plans are underway to convert this Vande Bharat train into a 16-car rake in response to overwhelming passenger demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bThis decision comes directly from Santosh Kumar Jha, Chairman and Managing Director of Konkan Railway. Jha stated, &#8220;There are plans to convert the train into 16 cars soon.
